CommentsFound this club when I lived in Atlanta and literally lived in the place! Now back in my home state of Mississippi, it is truly my favorite bar still! While in Atlanta, and now in Mississippi, I have introduced many friends and family to the music and spirit of the joint, and they love it as much as I do! Everyone finds his/her way back. Hello to all! From Lynne, the ponytail girl.
CommentsMan do I really miss you guys. I was poking around trying to find a "Cracks in the Ceiling" CD that some chick took from me a few years back and tripped (luckily) over this website. I remember meeting my best friend on the pew next to the juke box when "Try a Little Tenderness" was playing and I was eating a catfish po boy. Albie Shoals was trying to find a reed for a busted one on one of his saxes when Mr. Frank smiled at him on his way in and said, " I wish I could hep ya". I miss listening to Grady and times like that cold ass night when the late great Johnny Clyde Copeland played for me and a Georgia coed who later succumbed to cancer herself.... Gotta replace my worn out t shirt. Thanks for the memories from way the hell out here in Utah. I miss VA Highlands and my "hole".... Blind Willie's. Any idea where I can find any of those old Shadows CD's? neilmize@allstate.com
CommentsI came to Atlanta for the weekend and heard about Blind Willies. It was one of the most fun nights I have ever had. The house band was friggin awesome. Seriously, I danced my ass off. I am moving to Atlanta this summer and I can't wait to go back!!

CommentsThanks for giving the blues lovers a welcome place to celebrate the traditional American music. I plan to bring my friend, Kal David, to the bar on the weekend of the Dekalb Blues Festival, July 18-20. I'm sure this icon of the blues will be welcomed by everyone. All my best wishes to you and thanks again ! Norman
CommentsComing from France, to a week long crash course in Business Strategy at UPS Headquarters and Georgia Tech Business School, I spent two evenings at your place. Phenominal. Singers belched out frustration about mother-in-laws, harmonicas were wailing, and Sandra Hall whipped everyone into a dance. Unlike most places, the waitresses were both pretty and kind. One young lady was so beautiful and friendly to the human race in general, I actually gave her a 100$ tip. Rick from France. richardlouisteachout@yahoo.fr
CommentsI look forward to visiting your club throughout the coming years.
CommentsI'll be seeing you guys on August 25th for the Nathan Morgan Band!! Wooo!! -Bonnie
CommentsI've always been a great fan of the blues. While other kids were listening to children's songs, I was listening to B.B. King and Howling Wolf. It was great to finally turn 21 and hear some great blues for real and up close like it's meant to be! I'll be back... and I'm getting a T-shirt and some gator bites next time! ~NAR~
CommentsI love Willies because what happens at willies stays at willies. maerose
